Can you make reservations?
Yes, you can always make reservations via phone or email. A 48-hour cancellation policy is needed.
Are pets allowed?
No, we ask that you leave your pets home.
How old do you have to be?
You must be 21 years or older to rent from Northwest Boat Rentals. You must be willing to sign and initial all required waivers and acceptances. A credit card number is taken in the event the boat is damaged. A cell phone is required to communicate in the event of an emergency.
Do you take checks or cards?
Yes, cash checks or cards are excepted.
Do I need a reservation?
Highly recommended. Depending on availability, walk-ins are always welcome.
What are your hours of operation?
7 days a week. 9am-9pm. Weather permitting.
How long can I rent a boat for?
Depends on the boat. Call for questions or see Rates page on our website.
Can I bring food and beverage?
Yes. We can also arrange for delivery of various items from local restaurants. The boats are set up with two tables and drink holders. Coolers are available for rent.
What about rain?
The Duffy 21' can be fully enclosed and are equipped with heaters. Rain is not a factor! Ski boats and sailboat can also rent in the rain, but don't forget 48-hour cancellation notice is required.
Are children allowed?
Of course, children absolutely love these boats and child life vests are available. We require that children 13 & under wear life vests, which will be provided upon arrival.
Are there bathrooms on board?
No. There are spots along the way to stop for a bathroom break. These are pointed out on the map provided of the bay.
Do you need a Washington State Boaters Education Card?
Yes, if you are renting a Power boat or 29' Cal (sailboat) we ask you have a Boaters Safety card. Go to www.parks.wa.gov/boating to take a 1-hour online test that will grant you a WSBEC.
